What is Tennis or Golfers Elbow?
Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) refers to inflammation on the outside of the elbow. Golfers elbow (medial epicondylitis) refers to inflammation on the inside of the elbow.
Swinging a tennis racket or golf club may be a cause of epicondylitis, but many other repetitive motions can result in this condition including typing, mousing, cooking, using handheld tools, writing or carrying groceries.
